Paulien Meijer is a professor of Teacher Learning and Development at the Radboud Teachers Academy at Radboud University (Nijmegen, the Netherlands). Her research focuses on teacher education, the development of teachers’ professional identity, workplace learning and teaching for creative learning. She was the Chair of the International Study Association on Teachers and Teaching (ISATT), and is a forum member of Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership InFo-TED: International Forum on Teacher Educator Development and member of the Global Teacher Education Consortium (GTEC).

Licínio C. Lima is a full professor in the Department of Social Sciences of Education in the Institute of Education of the University of Minho, where he has been teaching since 1981. He has been a visiting professor at several universities in Europe, Africa, Latin America and Asia. He is currently visiting professor at the University of Milan-Bicocca (Italy) and at the Julius-Maximilians University Würzburg (Germany). He has taught, among others, in the fields of Sociology of Educational Organizations, Educational Administration, Research Methods and Policies of Adult Education. He was a founding member of the Paulo Freire Institute of Portugal, the European Society for Research in Adult Education, the Portuguese Society of Educational Sciences and the Portuguese Forum of Educational Administration. He is the author of numerous works, including more than three dozen books, published in eighteen countries and seven languages.
